Michele Carlo

Michele Carlo is the author of the memoir Fish Out Of Agua: My life on neither side of the (subway) tracks (Citadel 2010), which began as stories told at the MOTH. A solo show adaptation of Fish Out of Agua will appear at the 20th Annual L.A. Women’s Theater Festival in March 2013. For more info:

Mike Brown

Mike Brown is a standup comic and writer based in New York. In 2012,
He was named one of Rooftop Comedy’s Comics to Watch, Caroline’s Best
of New Talent and a semi-finalist in NY Funniest Stand Up competition
presented by JetBlue. His material is based on growing up in New York
City and is accessible to many audiences ranging from corporate
(NAACP, NYSC) to collegiate (Penn State, SUNY Albany, CUNY City,

Andrew Lloyd-Jones

Andrew was born in London, England and grew up in Anchorage, Alaska. He won the Fish Prize with his story “Feathers and Cigarettes”, and his writing has featured in theTales of the Decongested anthologies, in the Canongate collection Original Sins and in the anthology Down the Angel. He is a founder of the original Liars’ League, one of London’s most successful literary evenings, showcasing emerging short story writers from around the world. Andrew now lives and writes in New York.
